Toothless is a strange creature, bit like a cross between a frog and a lizard. He hides away under a log, patiently waiting for insects to eat.  In the wild the animals are rarely seen as they spend most of their time  hiding from predators under ground. If they get badly injured these amphibians have the remarkable ability to regrow entire limbs!
